Overview

Horizon and Promega Corporation have partnered in a long-term relationship to develop a suite of best-in-class endogenous pathway tag and reporter cell lines for application in functional genomics research and drug discovery and development. Our collection of ready-made cell lines with tags is growing. Alternatively, we can modify your specific cell line for you.

Horizon reporter kits enable functional cell-based assays to be carried out at the endogenous level, allowing researchers to examine natural levels of protein and promoter activity. Traditional methods of understanding protein/promoter function have used exogenous plasmid-based over-expression systems which can result in artefactual results.
