Technical Information
The availability of precisely defined reference materials offers an industry standard for development and quality control of IHC assays, improving the accuracy and reproducibility. IHC HDx Reference Standards provide laboratories with a consistent source of positive and negative reference material on one slide.

Features
• Precisely defined negative (-), low positive (+), intermediate positive (++) and strong positive (+++) protein expressing cell lines on the same slide (Onslide control)
• Cell lines verified by IHC assay and Quantitative Digital Pathology (QDP).

Applications
• Test the analytical (technical) performance of your assay with external controls of precisely defined human cell lines that express protein at a range of known levels
• Establish the practical lower limit of detection of your IHC methodology with validated low protein expressing cells
• Develop a new IHC protocol with a reproducible assay that is validated through reproducible cell lines
• Guide the evaluation of antibodies based on their sensitivity and specificity
• Gain additional confidence when optimizing and monitoring the performance of your assay through application of a consistent reference standard
