A client came to us in need of a mouse model with a 3.1kb cassette inserted at the end of the coding sequence of a specific gene. The 3.1kb insert cassette was to bicistronically express an ion channel protein and a fluorescent reporter under the control of the endogenous gene.
A client came to us with a project they were struggling to generate using ES Cells. This group had been working on generating the model for three years with unsuccessful results. Due to the ability of ZFNs to modify single-cell embryos, we felt confident we could generate the model and transmit the mutation through the germline.
A client came to us with a need for a more translational model for predicting human response of their candidate drug. Mouse models exist for their area of study, but do not display the desired disease phenotype of drug response.
